PW.S2 Precision balances
The newly developed, innovative precision balance series PW.S2 sets new standards in technology and innovation.
For maximum working comfort, the S2 balance series features 5" touchscreens of the latest generation (capacitive surface touchscreens). The advantage is that the touch screen does not consist of a soft foil, but has a glass-hard surface. Simple handling, a clear menu and an intuitive presentation of the information ensure comfortable operation. Common interfaces allow the selection of the optimal communication. The S2 model series offers a variety of options for connection to external devices, such as printers, copying systems, Lims systems, and any data transfer from connected analysis devices. Thanks to the IR sensors many operations (e.g. taring, transfer of results to a printer or selection of further process steps etc.) can simply be done by hand without touching the screen.
The housing is made of high-quality plastic, the weighing platform is made of stainless steel. The load cell is made of one piece of aluminium. The balances can also be used to weigh masses outside the weighing platform (underfloor weighing device) - the mass is placed under the balance.
The S2 series has a unique and innovative system, which is equipped with a function to personalize the information system with the help of widgets. Personalization of the S2 scale display allows direct access to information and work results from the main screen.
Data management via the USB interface, work results can be quickly transferred to a computer or another balance and copied (measurements, reports, databases). Data management of the balance can also be performed online using remote access to the balance and its databases. Integration with the optional E2R computer system allows data to be managed externally, increasing productivity.
ALIBI memory: All S2 balances are equipped with an ALIBI memory approved for legal verification, which ensures the safety and automatic recording of the measurements, as well as the viewing, copying and archiving of the data. Up to 500,000 weighings can be stored in the ALIBI memory.
